They were called the Magik*Magik Orchestra
So…Death Cab For Cutie…in a church. The acoustics were pretty amazing, plus I was FRONT ROW CENTER so it was even more awesome. The singer kept on cracking church jokes like “are you following up with the service in your program?” And he said he used to be an altar boy when he was 10….not sure if that was a joke or not haha. Low opened for them, which Death Cab claimed was their favorite band ever which was cool. I wanna go to more shows in this church now!

Saw Freightened Rabbit, kinda reminded me of Mumford and Sons? Sorta…not really, yeah but theyre from scotland! Then the sounds, theyre all on meth for sure, but they can put on a hell of a show. Cypress Hill was insane in the membrane. City and Colour’s set got cut in half cause some asshole band went on longer so all the other bands were longer so they decided to take it all out on city and colour :( besides that fact they were amazing as always. The Tragically Hip? Yeaaah Gord Downie is a loony, like whats he on? Hes just fucking crazy, theyre crazy! Death Cab for Cutie was just amazing and MSTRKRFT was a party!!
freaking unbeleivable, D12 even came out and did a few songs, pretty fucking awesome if you ask me. Also saw Lights who was awesome as always, Bran Van 3000 who were sick, Broken Social Scene and Charles Bradley…kinda reminded me of stevie wonder aha going back sunday for City and Colour, Death Cab For Cutie, MSTRKRFT, The Tragically Hip, Cypress hill and MORE.
